Enhance Your Skills as a Literacy Specialist

As a certified PK-12 teacher, you already possess a wide range of skills necessary to educate your students. However, New England is currently seeing increased demand for teachers with specialized skills who can develop critical thinking through literacy initiatives. Whether you are interested in literacy program development, intervention, or assessment, the Providence College Graduate Literacy Program will open up new, exciting career opportunities or help you move up in your current teaching role.

Register below for an interactive virtual information session where you will meet the program director, have the opportunity to ask questions, learn about the coursework, and become familiar with the application process.

Gabrielle Dacunha and Rebecca Nelson, current teachers and graduates of the Literacy program will be joining this session to share their experience.

You will also receive an automatic application fee waiver - worth $65 - for attending this event. See you there!

If you are a person with a disability and require an assistive device, service, or other accommodation to participate in this program please contact the Central Reservations Coordinator (401.865.2070; M-F 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.) well in advance of this program.
